Today is the 100th anniversary of the day on which Ludwig Wittgenstein arrived, unannounced, at Bertrand Russell's rooms in Cambridge, thus starting their intellectual relationship.
>From today onwards, my website (www.wittgensteinchronology.com<http://www.wittgensteinchronology.com/>) will feature accounts of Wittgenstein's thoughts and activities, exactly one hundred years after the event (18th Oct was a Wednesday in 1911, not a Tuesday, so I'm following the date, not the day of the week). Today's update features there on the page entitled 'Cambridge & Norway, 1911-1914' (http://www.wittgensteinchronology.com/6.html).
I hope these might be of interest to people who want to follow Wittgenstein's intellectual development (up to the publication of the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, at least). I will try to include what is known about his activities on every day where we know what he was doing (from his own letters, Russell's letters, Wittgenstein's notebook entries, etc.).
Take your time!
